Additional information

This is a course that is intended for beginners who want to start learning a new language. In this course, basic structures and vocabulary necessary for every-day life are dealt with. These language basics are taught with a practical guidance.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to understand and use everyday expressions of frequent use as well as very basic sentences in order to satisfy needs of a concrete type.  They will be able to introduce themselves and other people, ask and answer questions about basic personal details such as where they live, the people they know and the things they have. They will be able to interact in a simple way, provided that the other person talks slowly and clearly.

This course aims to reach the level A1 requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

It is focused on the four language skills (conversation and interaction, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and writing). During this class period, students will receive the practice needed to pass the Official Exam A1 DELE at the end of the course.

No requirements are necessary to register on the Spanish A1 Course.

The mark of any student is determined by taking a written exam and an oral presentation, as well as the attendance and class work.

The course is focused on the official exams preparation of the Instituto Cervantes. We offer our students the possibility to apply for these examinations.
