Additional information
This course is intended for students that have already acquired some linguistic knowledge, but they should continue learning vocabulary and grammatical rules for leaning how to operate in short social exchanges; pose and answer questions, make invitations and respond to them, give information about the past, etc.
At this level, the improvement of oral and written expressions is to deepen understanding and ensure that the students learn to function effortlessly in communicative exchanges. The studied lexicon and grammatical rules will enable students to be able to describe habits and activities, explain the state of mind, make comparisons, tell tales from times past or explain their likes and dislikes about something.
Students will be able to understand phrases and frequently used expressions relating to areas of expertise that are especially relevant and they will be able to communicate. When carrying out everyday tasks requiring a simple and direct Exchange information on familiar and routine matters (basic personal and family information, shopping, employment, local geography, etc.)
They can describe in simple terms aspects about their background and their environment, as well as matters of immediate need.
This course aims to reach the level A2 requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
It is focused on the four language skills (conversation and interaction, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and writing). During this class period, students will receive the practice needed to pass the Official Exam A2 DELE at the end of the course.
Requirements
In order to enrol on the Spanish A2 course, students must have achieved a Spanish A1 Level. Instituto de Lenguas reserves the possibility of administering a level test during the first week of the course.

Evaluation
The mark of any student is determined by taking a written exam and an oral presentation, as well as the attendance and class work.
The course is focused on the official exams preparation of the Instituto Cervantes. We offer our students the possibility to apply for these examinations.
